To those of you who have heard our music under the band name, Marksmen, we have some news (depending how you look at it, it could be good, bad, or irrelevant):

Long story short, we were strongly advised by management, lawyers, etc. to change our name in order to avoid any potential legal trouble down the road (considering the name Marksmen is trademarked by another band – lame), so we were sadly left with no other option than to change the name of our band.  That is why from this point on, we will write and perform music under the new name, TALLHART.

Although we have a new band name, we are still the same group of guys writing the same style of music that you’ve possibly grown familiar with over the last year or two.  If you are one of those individuals, it’s important to know that:

    1) Our album, “Sister of Mine” is now available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc. under the new name, TALLHART. We will also be selling physical copies at our shows.

    2) You can follow us on Twitter under our username: @tallhart

    3) You can follow us on Facebook here: TALLHART

We hope all of you are receptive to this new name-change, but more importantly, we hope you are willing to continue following and supporting us as we enter the new year with new plans, despite this slight bump in the road we had to face.

Thank you all for your support and understanding!

    -TALLHART

PS: on the bright side, we’re now in the midst of recording a brand new EP that will be released in the coming months AND we will be touring throughout most of the spring (we will have all of the dates listed on here soon).

PSS: be on on the lookout for some great news to be revealed in the near future.
